Settembre

Settembre is a local Colorado winery founded by a married couple. In commemoration of their union, which took place in September in Italy, they named the winery Settembre which means “September” in Italian.

This project focused on a redesign of Settembre’s brandmark and its wine bottle labels. I selected Settembre because its existing logo didn’t capture neither the unique context of the winery’s history nor reflected its name.

For the new wine labels, I abandoned a standard rectangular form for a more engaging and elegant round outline with a cut-out shape of a grape leaf. Combined with background painting of leaves and rich colors, these labels remind the audience of the grace and tranquility that defines the leaf-changing season of Autumn.
